PMS not reading .m4v metadata

I've just re-installed my QNAP and setup PMS from scratch but although I have local media assets as first choice in all agents PMS still doesn't use the embedded metadata in the .m4v.

I prefer my movies to be sorted in the order they were released (especially when in collections) and it's very time-consuming to have to manually setup Sort Title and create Collections when all this information is embedded into the file. (If I import these files into iTunes, all the embedded information is read and used).

Am I missing something or can't PMS read the following tags embeded into the .m4v?

Sort Name

Sort Album
Embedded Thumbnail (I would prefer PMS to use the embedded Thumbnail by default but it doesn't).

For information:

PMS Server: QNAP TS-670 Pro

PMS Version: 0.9.8.18

.m4v creation tool: Handbrake

.m4v Tagging Tool: Mac OS X Subler

File Name Example: Film Name (year).m4v

After some experimentation I discovered the “Sort Album” .m4v tag I’ve been using isn’t the correct one for Plex to use for its Collection category. Removing it and replacing it with the .m4v tag called “Album” allows Plex to build the Collections correctly.

So the question remains, what tag should I use for the Plex Sort Title? The .m4v tag “Sort Name” doesn’t work, so does anyone have any ideas? (I’ve tried lots of differant tags and so far none of them work for Sort Title).
