PMS on DS218play is reporting an available update, but DSM 6.2.1 says update is incompatible

In trying to solve other issues i’m having specific to streaming MKV videos on my PC (via either the Plex app or web), I logically wanted to update PMS to the current version. However attempts to install the current version is met with an error “This package is not supported on the platform of DiskStation or is incompatible with the current DSM version.”

Is there any way to bring my version to current?
