Synology NAS DS218J update will not start due to incompability with latest DSM version

Server Version#: DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 6
Player Version#: 1.15.3.876

I used to be able to manually install the Plex spk manually using the manual install in the package center. However if I want to update it with the latest version of the Plex server (manually) with the file PlexMediaServer-1.15.3.876-ad6e39743-armv7hf.spk I get the notification that this package is not supported on the platform of Diskstation or is not compatible with this DSM version (which is the latest).

Anyone else having this issue?

Nevermind found the issue! The update package Plex was recommending was the wrong version for my NAS. I really needed: PlexMediaServer-1.15.3.876-ad6e39743-armv7hf_neon.spk

It worked!

Plex/web doesn’t know all the details. In this case, ARMv7 versus ARMv7_neon is unfortunately your responsibility.
