PMS on Nvidia Shield is localhost after restart

Hi!

I have a server setup on nvidia shield. Usually works fine, however sometimes when i unplug the shield and then plug it in again the server starts as “localhost” instead of my usual server.

Even is this works I’ll have to change server on all my devices. This morning the same thing happened with a new issue.

If I select the localhost server on my shield I can not select to view my content in the “edit homescreen section”. When i connect to localhost using an iPad i can see my libraries.

I have tried to restart the shield, stopp and start the server but nothing works.
Anyone have any idea?

That happens a lot. You can move it back to a real name, but you’ll still have to fix your devices for the pinned items.

From:

Log into your router to find out the Shield’s IP address and then try logging into it locally via your web browser so:
http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/web

So, if the IP address of your Shield is 127.0.0.1 you should enter:
http://127.0.0.1:32400/web

If you are able to log in then associate the PMS with your account again and you should be good to go. Good luck!
