Thank you

Thanks - could you get me also the dmp files from the earlier crash(es) with this version

I crashed it twice this morning. Once just after updating (dump file attached) and once after restarting for good measure (the previous dump file). The Plex logs were generated after the second crash.
Plex Media Server.exe.12856.zip (1.2 MB)

Similar stack frames to the other dump. I am afraid it is not giving information to identify the cause.

So will need to look for more examples - perhaps the scheduled tasks clean bundles will be different timing / stack in the dump

@mikefaulk1 could you get me zip of the Plex Media Server database and zips of some folders - they may be big

So please shutdown Plex Media Server and then

zip me the following folders into separate zips

C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Media\localhost

and

C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Metadata

and database files zip

C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db

and if present also

C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-wal
C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-shm

C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db-wal
C:\Users\Movies\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db-shm

Please upload the zips to dropbox or google drive etc and send me a link by Private Message

Thanks

@mikefaulk1 sent you a development build 1.29.1.6319 to try out to see if it fixes the clean bundles crash. Would still need to have the folders zip and db zip

Thanks

Yes, I can do that. I’ll get the files together, then try out the dev build.

That Development build does NOT crash when cleaning bundles. I also sent the link for the zip files requested. Thank you.

Excellent

I will check if we have downloaded all the bundles and database files

Just wanted to report that I still have crash in 1.29.1.6316.

Will you be able to share 1.29.1.6319 with me as well?

I can confirm 6316 also still crashes for me.
I’ll also test the latest Beta to confirm it doesn’t crash anymore if you need another tester.

When performing Clean Bundles ?

If not, please let me have debug server logs and zipped dump file - if it is on windows and it is being captured into %LocalAppData%\CrashDumps

Yes. As above my issue is exact same as OPs.
I’ll send more logs if you need, but if you want me to also confirm fix with latest unreleased beta I will attempt. Otherwise I will assume you have enough to confirm fix and will await release.

thanks

I confirm that clean bundles does not crash anymore as well for me on 6319 (Windows 2016 Server).

I’d like to try this development build as well, if possible. I’m currently running 1.29.1.6316 and am still crashing as originally described.

I also have this issue.
@sa2000 may I please have access to the latest development build?
