PMS randomly not reachable via plex.tv but over own domain:port

Hello everyone,

first a little resume of my setup:

My PMS is running on a Windows 7. My ASUS RT-AC66U (dont think that realy matters) has a Portforwarding on port 32400 to my PMS.
Manual Port is activated in the PMS Server settings of course.

Here is my problem: sometimes I cannot reach my server when acessing it over plex.tv/web. Acessing it over my own domain:port is working without any problem.

When I first had this problem, it eventually just disappeared and I could reach my PMS over plex.tv/web again, without me doing anything.

Some days ago I had that exact problem again and took a look in the Server Remote Settings, and voilà the remoteaccess was disabled! I enabled it and everything was working again.

Today the problem reappeared, the remoteaccess was disabled, although I didn’t change anything there…

This is really annoying, especially for devices that can only access via plex.tv ( TV and Phone Apps e.g.)

Any idea what the problem might be?

I saw this the other day on a similar post:

If you do disable / re-enable remote access or tick/untick manually specify port, there are some timing problems that may give rise to status being incorrect - a reboot after enabling it and manually specifying the port may help. The issue would be arise if there are numerous clicks and in quick succession - best to leave 30 second gap between clicks and if set correctly best not to unset/reset

I did what you suggested. However I can’t tell if it helped for the moment as the issue only appeared a few times. If I don’t have any issues after a week or two I guess that did it.
