The scanner *Plex TV Series* failed to find any show in the library. It removed the shows were there found by the scanner *Plex TV Series (BETA)* on PMS version 1.22.1.4228.
Strangely, not every library was affected. As I separates the library anime series from the library live action series, the library animes series were fine and intact but the all shows in the library live action series were gone. They have the same settings except the library location.
This problem has occurred for around a month now. I cannot remember it had problem since which version. The old scanner in PMS 1.22.1.4228 can rediscover all the shows once I have reverted back.
I have another PMS running on DSM which never has exhibited this problem as far as I am using it. They both share the same library folders and settings. Plex Media Server.3.log.zip (52.5 KB)
Strangely. After rolled back to PMS 1.22.1.4228. It lost the movies, TV and music index from time to time. Issuing a Scan Library Files command does not bring them back.
The content can be rediscovered only by running the Scan Library Files command after restart of the jail.
However, it will lose them after awhile but not all at once. It loses a library or 2 but not all of them. The lost libraries are different each time after rescan.
Looks like some issue with your system… does that machine give you some other hiccups?
According to your logs the server is failing to open the files because it cannot allocate the required memory. That’s more than 4000 failed attempts to read those files in just 1 log file…
