I have pms running on shield 16gig gen2. Not using shield storage for actual media location. Nas contains 16 tb of movies,music, shows, homevids, pics. All permissions are full access on all devices involved. I created a user name plex while signed in as admin level user on nas. I also did the for shield. I provided nas os with ip for shield and shield for nas. Both are static routes with plex at port 32400. I can one see 7 folders, only 1 of which is movie content. I need discovery of the remaining 7 folders. All folders where created same time after all permissions where set. Permissions are all set to inherit for all folders and sub folders using these credentials. It works for vlc,android file viewer, and win ten pc file explorer. Pms is the on software not discovering all folders from shield. pms on nas can see them as well as pms on win ten. Shield version is the issue. Again Shield is brand new and google play store updated today for pms. most current non beta. I went through tech support team viewer with qnap this morning involving win ten pc, nas, and shield. They saw all three devices, checked all permissions and concluded it’s a pms only issue involving shield folder discovery. How do I fix this? Please.
