Have tried changing Windows advanced power setting from AWAY mode to Prevent Idling to Sleep but with no effect. Porblem occurs with ROKU LT streaming device attached to TV and with Android phone acting as player.
Not know how long problem has existed. Only seems to happen during pauses between music tracks.
I am away from server but can remote access via teamviewer. System is set for Balanced Power mode and Advanced power setting for Windows are allow PC to sleep after 30 mins and never turn off screen.
Is there a setting to eloiminate pauses between music tracks as existed in WMP?
update plex stopped but windows was not asleep - trying to clarify my problem.
Problem seems to be that sleep mode is invoked based upon lack of screen activity.
Streaming music does not create screen activity on server and so 30 mins into music streaming which I would like to last as long as I want to have background music, the server will go to sleep.
This is not a Plex issue but I wonder if there is a trick or setting that can be used to defeat the sleep timer ?
