PMS Started on QNAP but browser cannot access (Server settings unavailable)

I have PMS installed on my QNAP TS269-L, the Plex Media server is running, but whenever I try to access from either a web browser or my LG TV, I get an error that the server is unreachable.

I have the QNAP NAS on the same network and subnet as my TV and browser, there is no firewall installed and I can ping between all the devices.

When I try to launch PLEX from the QNAP App Center, I get a warning: “Secure connections are not supported for this application. Are you sure you want to open it?” - I click OK to proceed and the browser opens the address(http://192.168.3.100:32400/web/index.html) with the “Not secure” banner also in the address bar.

Plex page opens (slowly after about 60-90 seconds), I can select settings and on occasions it says server is unreachable. Other times it shows a green padlock next to the QNAP media server (indicating secure), but when I select any of the settings, under the QNAP I just get a message “Server settings are unavailable”…

This was working on an older version of QNAP, but since upgrading to 1.21.1 I can’t get a stable connection to the media server. I’m guessing it’s something to do with a secure connection/SSL etc… but I don’t know enough on how to resolve.

Can anyone help on what might be causing this issue and how to resolve??
