PMS stopped working Nvidia Shield

I’ve run PMS from my Nvidia Shield for a few years now without any problems. It was working properly a few weeks ago but when I went to use it earlier this week remotely, I couldn’t get on. I thought nothing of it and eventually got round to having a look today. I still couldn’t get PMS to work so I ran the various updates both on Nvidia Shield and on the Plex app within Shield - both are now the latest versions but still no luck. I cleared the cache, logged out and back in and still no joy. Has anyone else had this problem recently and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Mine stopped working two days ago. Still no fix. I even uninstalled and reinstalled both apps.

Same for me. No idea why it stopped working even I have automatic updates disabled. So it stopped working out of the blue.

Same for me too. I no more see Plex Server on my Shield.
The Plex Client just see my wishlist.
In the Shield parameters, the Plex Server is start.
In the plex client parameter of my Shield, the Shield Server section is empty :frowning:

This is really annoying. I’m a paid user. What is happening is exactly what happened after the last major update of the shield, but which was then fixed. Now, same problem again. PMS stops working and is not anymore accessible in the settings.

I’ve tried everything: uninstall and clean install, restoring backup, running PMS from initial location, other accessible location in the shield, or from a disk.

Please, provide us with a fix that works on the long-term. I’ve paid an cannot use plex!

Finally I reset my shield and installed the plex server from scratch.

Did it work?

Do we really have to go through this?

This is NOT the first time this is happening. Can’t it be fixed?
