Plex Media Server Logs_2025-01-24_20-45-21.zip (3.7 MB)
At some point over night PMS shuts down. I have to restart manually and everything works. I am unsure of what is causing the shutdown. Any guidance on what to check or change would be greatly appreciated. Logs attached.
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>
Plex crashes during nightly maintenance, while analyzing one of your home videos, /volume1/video/home videos/Aiden/bells/BELLS 2018.wmv (at the bottom of Plex Media Server.1.log).
Could you attach the XML Info for the file? Save it as a .txt or zip it. The forum does not allow .xml uploads.
Also, move the file somewhere it is not visible to the Plex scanners.
Then see if Plex makes it through the maintenance window without crashing.
If Plex crashes again, please upload a new set of log files.
Every so often there is a file that just gives Plex fits. Trying to determine if that is the case with this one.
FFMPEG is crashing because it’s seeing variable frame rate up to 120
-and-
after it seeks to where it needs, it’s looking for video info (sprite 1 & sprite 2)
but only finding one of them
