PMS v1.2.2.2857 (QNAP) crashes randomly/daily

Hi,

The last month my PMS (v1.2.2.2857-d34b464) has almost crashed every day. When i check the logs (attached) there a no errors.
The only way to get i running again, is to restart the service/app. I have never had this problem before. PMS has just worked previously.

Sometimes the PMS service is running after crashing. Today the service was stopped after the crash.

QNAP FW: 4.2.2 Build 20161021 (latest official release)

EDIT: Looks like PMS is killing itself (Plex Media Server.log)? The NAS restarts daily at 7:00 am. NAS wasn’t stopped/restarted at 07:55. The log timestamp are correct - have checked.

Looks like QNAP (system) is stopping the PMS service (huh!). Below is QNAP System Event Logs. The timestamp is one sec prior to when i logged in and emptied the recycle bin (daily routine). Hmmmm …

From the QNAP Connection Logs i logged in at 07:55:18.

I get the same Event logs items, when i manually stop the PMS service. So i MUST have stopped it manually. No reason for it … hmmm …

Does it do it every time you log in, as in crash 1 sec before?

No, it usually crashed completely (random times - morning, evening, midnight etc) but service is still running on QNAP (have to restart it). Today the service was stopped.

I’ll close this thread - Since it wasn’t an actual crash today, and the logs doesn’t show anything else. I’ll get back when it crashes.
