Does anyone have, or can point me to, a couple of explainers about
(1) PMS sorting/naming order when local metadta exists in the mp3 file but PMS sometings ignores the metadata and still uses its own sorting and look up
(2) field mapping betwwen mp3 file metadata and how PMS uses and puts that metadata (I abolutely have years in my metadata but when PMS scans the files the date sometimes doesnt seem to be taken from metadata
I apologise for these questions. I have built a new music library due to my old one getting corrupted, the new libray is doing some odd things in sorting where albums should be shown, or showing them as recently added but cant find them in the librarys views, or initially importing them where I expect but then moves them, or juse seems to plain ignore the metadata in the mp3 file. I dont know if the db corruption somehow cuased a more fundamental problem but my thousands of videos seem perfect.
So am trying to understand better how this all works to see if its actually working correctly

For context, it affects 30 odd albums out of 1700 that Plex reports that seem to move/dissappear (but still show as recently added, and even play)
And if I manually the number of albums by album artists thumbnails theres actually 1757 of them
So dont really know whats working as expected and what I might be doing wromg)
