Some time ago I posted this thread PMS has stopped doing hardware transcoding on Intel UHD 630 and although I got it partially working, it never fully supported turning all h/w transcoding options on in the PMS transcode settings. Specifically I could not enable “use hardware accelerated video encoding” as that would stop all h/w accelerated transcoding and just leave is doing s/w transoding.
Now I have just updated to the new PMS x64 (1.29.0.6219) on all the same hardware and it appears to all be working again (although not done much testing TBH) for the 1st time in 10 months or so. So I can enable both “use hardware accelerated video encoding” as well as “use hardware acceleration when available”
FYI Running PMS on Windows Server 2019.
