I’m really enjoying the podcast function, and looking forward to future updates.
My biggest issue so far is how On Deck works. IMO it should work like TV On Deck where it displays the first unplayed episode. The only difference here would be that you can sort by new or old first, so it should display the first unplayed in that order.
Is this something that is going to be addressed? Right now my podcasts drop off of On Deck because if anything was played out of order it gets confused. I guess.
Agreed, the on deck is confusing and inconsistent.
yea, this is just more proof that plex developers are not very good at their job.
They don’t even take the time to make the podcast feature work correctly before they add something even more useless like web shows.
I regret paying for the VIP membership. Once I feel like I have gotten my money’s worth I am abandoning Plex.
I’m also hoping this gets resolved. The On Deck is always showing me the latest episode as opposed to the “next” episode. The download feature mostly works properly for the “next” episode although some with a lot of episodes (like over 100) think the “next” episode is some arbitrary position between newest and last watched.
These two inconsistencies result in lots of manual navigation to both get to the actual next episode to play as well as manually downloading next episodes when they aren’t properly inferred.
I would also be interested in this but if others prefer to have it the current way, it should be made a toggle between earliest and latest unplayed.
I’d like to manually control what gets on or off the Deck!
