I have season one of Pokemon TV shows from the 1999’s, I added to my plea server and flex found them no problem, however it keeps listing them as the japans ones and not US ones. The japans had 2 extra shows the first season so the titles are out of order when it comes to those episodes. When pulling the info check US and English and it keeps doing this on wiki, they list the air dates side by side. Besides hand naming them in plex is there away to pics this?

When using tv shows in Plex, you must number and organise your episodes like they appear in TheTVDB, because that is where Plex pulls its metadata from.

Other metadata sources have them organised differently, but that doesn’t matter. Unless you want to install 3rd party scanners and metadata agents into Plex.

If you don’t want to manually rename everything, check out filebot. It’ll automatically name things according to TVDB numbering (with some setup).

I also have been using Filebot in combination with a program called TheRenamer. http://www.therenamer.com/

I use the renamer app to automatically rename my files AND copy them to my library folders. (To The Renamer this is known as the fetch folder.) It supports drag and drop and can pull names from IMDB and TVDB along with some others. The Movie DB is one of them. I have used these two for years and it has saved me a TON of time. There are those occasions where the renamer will not pull the correct info and FileBot never fails. I just use The Renamer instead of Filebot for the Copy to Library folder when renamed feature.

FYI Filebot can also copy or move files to your library as well as naming all your show and season folders properly.
