Political Programs In "Recommended" Web Shows

Why is Plex “recommending” those political GQ web shows? Is it because Condé Nast is paying Plex to place their content? Plex corporate philosophy on politics? No matter; as a lifetime subscriber, I don’t wish to have politics of any form “recommended”, as I’ll form my own opinions.

How does one block recommendations? Thanks for any help on the matter.

Recommended is based on stuff you’ve watched. This will change as you watch different things. I don’t have that in my recommendations.

I’ve never watched anything in Web Shows, though. I got the notice a few days ago and today decided to give it a look. First thing I see is all that left-slanted op-ed pieces, and I’m very much libertarian/right. So IDK what could’ve precipitated populating “Recommended” with such stuff.

I’ll just ignore Web Shows altogether. Thanks, though.

If you never use it it just puts a selection of popular shows there. Same with the recommended in Podcasts.

If you never intend to use Web Shows you can disable it in your account settings. http://app.plex.tv/desktop?secure=0#!/settings/online-media-sources
