Port 10054

22:40:31 DNSServer: Warning: DNS error (10054): An existing connection was forcibly clotsed by the remote host.
 
This is an error i see over and over again.  How can I get rid of it?  How can I find out what's running on port  10054.  Thanks

That’s error number 10054 not port 10054.


I have seen this message and not had any actual issues with plex connect.


I think it best to explain your issue in full and post all information requested in the Read Before Posting thread so that you can be assisted.

Haha doh. You’re right. It’s pretty much harmless. The only time it has caused any issues is after updating plexconnect. After I update and run plexconnect it will error out after 15 mins or so ending with error 10054 as the last thing I see in the terminal window. I just restart plexconnect and everything’s okay after that.
