Ports used for Plex Cloud

Can anyone tell me which ports are used for Plex Cloud? I’m wondering if it will work in a place that blocks outgoing connections to anything other than 80 and 443.

I would also like to know! Still waiting on my invite though…

@jjross If you can get to http://plex.tv/web/app (launch your plex/web) then you’ll find your Plex Cloud server in the drop down of servers in the upper left corner.

@RandomNinjaAtk02 This beta is not an ‘open beta’ like the previous betas. This is by specific, return confirmation, invitation only and not everyone who signed up / applied got a seat.

Edit: Additionally, the number of users accepted started small. As the beta continues, more users will be accepted and receive their confirmation emails.

Thanks, but that doesn’t really answer the port number question… You didn’t provide the port ####… I run my server on a specific port because otherwise it would be blocked in a place I normally access it.

Yes it does answer the question. Think about it. There is NO server at your location which requires an INBOUND connection. Every part of the server is in the Cloud. This functionality is no different than you accessing a server shared with you by a friend. In this case, Plex, Inc has setup the server for you and manages it and taken care of the ports.

Having just now spoken with a dev directly, 443 is THE port used.
