Positive experience with Plex DVR Version 1.10.1.4602 on Nvidia Shield Pro

**BACKGROUND INFO **

I been using Plex Server for a few years for streaming recorded TV Shows and movies.
I purchased a NVidia Shield Pro close to a year ago in order to replace my always on PC.
My experience with plex DVR on the NVidia Shield Pro been a hit and miss since the beginning, sometime it recorded sometime it did not, sometime the external HD or NAS disconnected etc.
However, I love the lean back and web interface of Plex DVR so I kept hoping for improvement.

RESULT

Since the last release Version 1.10.1.4602 I have not missed one recording. The server is responsive and I can play back all my recording without any problem.

Keep the good work it is getting there …

So you are running PMS on the Shield? Cool. I got a Shield last month and only use it as a Plex client, and it has been by far the best client-side experience for me (LiveTV solid, time-shifting smooth UI etc). I have not pulled the trigger on running PMS on the Shield as I do a lot of post processing on my Win7 server (commercial flagging, subtitle extraction, transcoding etc).
