Greetings! I have successfully been running Plex Media Server w/ DVR on an NVidia Shield Pro for almost 4 months now. My setup is an HDHomeRun Prime with Cable Card with Charter Service, recording via SMB Share to WD MyCloud Ex2 Ultra with a pair of 8TB Drives in Raid 1.
I am debating on getting another one for a dedicated front end…When I have all 3 tuners recording, I start to notice a small lag on the front end. Usually evident when browsing the library or whats on now. Just wondering if any one else has noticed that… But for the most part I have been very happy with the Shield Setup and would highly recommend this setup compared to WMC and MythTV. Just can’t wait until the grid guide comes available!
