Possibility to adjust orientation of photos (Portrait/Landscape)

Importing photos to personal photo libraries of NEF files works perfectly. However, portrait photos are not shown/played correctly, they are in landscape (thumbnails also not correct).
In the EXIF data of a NEF-file, the pixel-height and pixel-width is ALWAYS landscape (sensor) and the orientation is in the “ORIENTATION-info”, ie for portrait number 8 (90 degrees CW).
This means Plex is not reading this orientation info correctly. So, it would be convenient to have the possibility to adjust the orientation of such photos.

There’s already an existing suggestion to allow rotating photos.
I suggest to vote/comment in this thread instead of keeping this duplicate to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.

Rotate photos feature and zoom

For years I have had Plex and I just want a simple way to rotate shots and zoom like even the most basic of photo apps out there have. Please if you work at Plex just mention this briefly to the app devs. I think they understand how this feature is probably important. We can’t rotate within Plex when looking at photos. Thanks.
