they’re not showing up “as movies”… the collections you didn’t delete are showing “inline” with your movies (exactly as described in the Plex Blog and the support article on Collections).
you can deactivate them from showing up in the library settings (in the library settings, set Edit > Advanced > Collections to “deactivated”). Have a look at the links … this will help you understand the “inline collections” feature.

Ok…so I was able to delete all my collections. YAY!!! Thank you so much for the information. And it does NOT DELETE the actual files. I was worried!!! LOL
I did notice, however, that now collections show up AS movies. In other words, I have a 3D collection. 3D shows up as a movie in the movie library showing 3D as the tile with 114 movies listed instead of a year. Is this going to be the new norm? If so, not a problem as I will just sort them into a collections order. Or is there a way to turn them OFF from showing under the library?
Edit the library involved and under the advanced tab you will see a “collections” entry. Set it to “disabled” to completely hide collections in the normal movie view. That is the setting I use because I do not want to see collections unless I want to browse by collections.

Was reading them when you replied…thanks! I don’t always examine the NEW features on every version… need to start doing that. lol
