Post-play screen continues playing current episode (this is bad)

Hi folks,

This is new behaviour. It may not be a bug, but it is (for me) getting quite irritating.

Situation: Watching an episode of a series; the episode ends; the now-becoming-ubiquitous “Next time, on Super Awesome Show!” spoiler-trailer starts. Everyone plugs their ears, shouts “LALALALA!” and dives for the remote to exit, avoiding said spoiler-trailer.

Expected behaviour (based on many years’ use): Press Menu button; exit to series overview rapidly.

Current (new) behaviour: Press menu button; exit to post-play screen where current episode is still playing.

Opinion: It appears that exiting and stopping playback, in either order, now requires two interactions. I believe this is a UX regression.

Suggestion: Give the app a settings toggle to turn off this new, unwanted behaviour. We use Plex because it isn’t Netflix.

This new end screen is so obnoxious. It is 100% useless after playing the current episode of something, and since I keep up with my shows, that means it is 100% useless, period. It’s done nothing but add an extra press of Menu to get out of an episode I’m watching.
