I am consistently getting a message for errors during post-processing. However, the show still shows up in my queue AND I can still view it… At least the beginning of the show.
I get the error on the recording schedule tab. What do I do to stop that from occurring? I haven’t changed anything and the last 3 recordings all show the error on on the schedule tab, yet I still seem to be able to view it.
Any ideas? I’m running the latest plex server software on a Mac computer.
logs from the time of your post processing would be helpful, I had something like that when my script renamed the file a little more than just the extension (appended a 1). file would get processed, but had a triangle, the logs said something like script deleted the file, silly script. but the new file was still moved and processed like normal.
Ok… I’m new to this. How do I get to the logs? Can I get to them from my phone or do I need to be on a computer?
If on a computer, can I get to them from settings, or do I need to look somewhere on the computer?
Thanks again for your help.
from the web interface you can download a zip. The link below shows more details, and the location of them to browse:

OK.
Here are the logs.
Also, I couldn’t get on my computer to find my Plex Server version earlier. It is 1.10.1.4602.
I looked on the Live TV and DVR settings and it gives me a space to add a postprocessing scrip, but its blank. I’ve also left unchecked the Enhanced Program Guide.
Let me know what else you need from me.
Thanks,
you should upgrade to the latest 1.11 plex version try again, as it might fix it. In the web console go to the BETA channel for updates to get the latest. I think there was a bug with the commercial skipping in that version. Also, delete scheduled recordings and start them fresh or it may keep the old settings. If you still see errors post the logs from right after it happened.
