There are some movie files that Plex keeps changing the poster art for. I select the poster art from the available items for the Poster metadata field, and the poster switches over to that. Then I go back a few hours or a day later, and the art has been switched back to a generic image . How do a I turn that off so the posters stay the same. This is true for movie that I haven’t edited or changed in any way, and movies where I added a jpg file to the movie directory and point the poster tag there.

I have the same exact issue. Change poster to one of the available ones in the menu and then it changes to a generic image. I’ve changed them to posters dozens of times, but they still change back.
I’m having the same issue. Seems to revert them back after a reboot.

At top list Example:
Films/Plex Movie/- Plex Movie

And so on
