Is anyone else having issued with Plex showing banners where posters should be? As in it just shows a portion of the banner in the poster size area, making it ugly and pixelated and the complete opposite of how it should be?
Can you please show a screenshot of this. Not something I recall seeing before
That’s really weird. I have Vikings ( awesome show ) and it is correct for me. When you go to the main show details page with all the season posters at the bottom and go to edit the show poster what is selected for it?
The correct poster. And even when I select a different poster/upload a different poster it continues to show as it shows above. It’s aggravating rofl. Right now I’m emptying bundles, emptying trash and then doing a full library analysis to see if that fixes it (i’m hopeful it will). If it doesn’t I plan on deleting the library and re-adding it to see if THAT fixes it. I’m mildly OCD and share my library with family members and want it to look pretty, so while this may seem trivial, it’s kind of a big deal to me.
And it’s doing it randomly for other shows I’m noticing now, too.
Ok. I think I figured out what’s up. I cleared my cache, restarted my browser, restarted PMS, rescanned everything, and now when I update the show posters they update. The problem is for a lot of newly added shows it selects the shows banner rather than the poster as the shows poster, so I have to go change each one individually. It’s tedious, and hopefully this is addressed and fixed in future versions of PMS, but that’s a “workaround” if you will for anyone else having this problem.
Thanks I still have not been able reproduce. The next time you add a show and it does this can you grab the server, scanner and plugin logs so we can try to figure out why it is doing that.
