I am just trying to see if anyone knows why, after an update to plex (or plex server?) I lost the ability to view posters for tv shows. My movies posters all show no problem but none of my tv show posters are showing. I removed my tv shows from the server, ran a metadata refresh then just installed 1 show 1 season and it still will not show the poster for the tv show (friends) it doesn’t matter what tv show I reinstall it will not show the poster for any tv show I reinstall. It seems like after an update, something happened to either my settings (which I do not touch, therefore do not know where to go for this setting) or possibly the server settings themselves but my metadata for tv shows will no longer produce posters. I am not computer literate so if anyone tells me how or where to go for a setting they would like to see I can produce you evidence but I do not know where or how to alter settings in plex or plex server. I had it setup initially by my brother and therefore will not touch settings. Any help would be valuable. I am running a windows plex server
I have not recieved a reply from anyone so I am not sure if plex support is actually reading my post or not but I still have the problem a week later and still can’t seem to figure out what is wrong. If plex support can read this message and reply or anyone who has had this problem or knows how plex works can help I’m stuck with my plex as is until I get this resolved? anyone know how the settings are supposed to be so I can check to see if anything has changed?
