Posters seem to get out of alignment in large libraries - Android

I’ve got a large library and in swiping though the library to replace some posters with higher quality versions I noticed that the currently highlighted movie posters were moving farther and farther to the left, no longer lining up in the center on my display.

I’ve attached an image for an example.

I’m using a Samsung S8

I noticed this on my S8 and also my Samsung Tab S2 as well.

Posters are not out of alignment.
What you see is kind of a carousel effect where the active / front poster is displayed larger (closest to you). As you scroll along, the next poster will be “pulled to the front”.

I suppose it’s a bit like good old cover flow (except we don’t currently have a landscape mode for Plex Dash).

I’m not referring to the carousel effect.

What I mean is this is happening where the posters go from being able to see the selected one in the middle of the screen to the currently “selected” poster creeping off of the screen.

I’ve attached a gif showcasing this. As I swipe posters, the currently selected one has part of it’s text off of the left of the screen.

Yep… that’s what I’ve tried to describe.
Compared to Plex Dash on iOS it appears the selected tile remains “in front” until the next one is fully in focus. On iOS the effect is a bit smoother – when you see 2 “half-posters” side by side, they will show at the same size

No, I still think we are not talking about the same thing.

Here is a gif from the start of my library. You can see that the selected poster is square in the middle of the screen, with two other posters on either side. The previous gif, has only two, with the selected poster off to the left side creeping off of the screen. Look at the text for the name of the movie at the bottom.

Start of library - everything in line.

Yes…this exactly. It only shows up when you’re scrolling deep into a large library.
