I am running a linux server and I’ve noticed that there is a post processing script in the tuner section… Is there a way to modify the recording and remove the commercials from my OTA recordings by using that post processing feature?
Search the forum there are other threads discussing Linux post processing scripts. Comskip is what you would need for commercial removal.
Johnm_ColaSC, thanks… I think I should have been more specific. I’ve been searching the forums, and it seems that everyone is using the MCEBuddy GUI. Maybe I need to do some more research on that… I’m running a headless server and would need a cli solution. I see that comskip is what I’m looking for, but I also see a bunch on comchap and comcut… Just wanted to see if someone had a simple cli Linux solution. I’ll poke around with comskip and see what my results are. Thanks again.
