Been using Rasplex since .40 was released and must say I am very impressed. Updated to .41 and was able to finally separate my PMS from PHT on my MacMini! I can finally use my MacMini as a PMS only and move it away from the TV! I am able to playback all my content including full BluRay rips (after over clocking!) something I was only able to do with my PMS/PHT MacMini attached to my TV before.
I have one small issue though. My Pi is getting power from my TV USB port so when I turn on my TV the Pi automaticaly boots up.
When I shut down the Pi it turns my TV off. All functions I want it to do. I am using CEC to control the Pi so only 1 remote!
Except that when I wake up in the morning my TV and Pi are always turned on!? Not that big of a deal I can shut it back down again but the strange thing is that after I turn it off again it stays off all day till I turn it on again at night!
Like I said its not a huge problem but it would be nice if it would only turn on when I say so. I am wandering if it is the power from the TV that's on the fritz or if it is a CEC problem. Anyone have any input on this?

Try changing the CEC options in Preferences, System, Services.
change it to what? I want to use CEC to turn on my Pi and TV.
Sorry, that should have been Preferences, System, Input Devices, Peripherals, my apologies.
There are several settings to control what commands are sent via CEC, have a look to see if any are causing the effect you are having.
Is the Pi powered off when your TV goes off (no lights on at all) or is it still powered on (red light on), if powered on then any activity (Screen saver, etc) on th Pi will bring the TV up.

Thanks for the reply, I checked all settings but there is nothing that I can think of that would cause my TV to send power to the USB port to boot the Pi up. When I shut down the Pi it is off, no LED's on, which in turn shuts down the TV. I have a feeling it is the TV that has power problems since the Pi is turned off completely.

Yep, definately the TV that's waking up the Pi, and not the other way around, are there any alarms on the TV that turn it on at a pre-defined time, I used to have one that would wake me up at 6:00 with BBC News 24!!

Agreed! It's the TV, but there is no settings on it to set it up to turn on!? Maybe I can just power it off completely at night (instead of standby mode using the remote control). I still don't understand why it only happens at night and not during the day
