Within my collection I sometimes have duplicates.. Sometimes it is because I have a FLAC and Non-Flac version of the same album sometimes I simply have the exact file in two places (odd case of duplicating something from a folder.
For movies plex tends to merge duplicates and provide a choice of qualities or simply pick the best one that will direct play..
After rescanning my collection, my multi-disk albums are now merged, however I now have duplicate QUALITY albums...
Because of the way Plex Music now scans for new content (which is amazing), I decided to have it scan absolutely everywhere I have music. There are sometimes necessary duplicates for other things (DJing with Serato most notably).
Having albums merge duplicates like TV Shows and Movies would be great!
