or an option to enable PreRolls per library, not just movies
Quick question, after months of this being here. What possible use could you have for this?
I would be so irritated if my plex started playing “ads” so to speak (pre-rolls), between episodes 
Pre-Rolls can be customized, there are a lot of cool ones out there. I don’t know, there is just some thrill to seeing these little bursts of animation. I used to get stoked just by seeing HBO prior to game of thrones…

my point was when you watch one program? A pre roll is no big deal. But I shuffle series all the time as background, and to have that happen every 23 minutes per sitcom episode would be awful
I didn’t think you didn’t know what they were. Was just pointing out that there are a lot of pre-rolls available.
So, in theory, you could have a different one for every episode.
Personally, 8-20 seconds per episode to watch a pre-roll is entertaining, not painful.
This is where having options would be nice, everyone can setup to suit their preference.
Any eta to have preroll on TV series like most online services? I just found the preroll of my life and I would love to have it on tv series too!

+1 for this feature. I don’t even understand why this isn’t a thing yet. I mean it must be very quick to code since it’s already functional with movies. I got a 4 seconds video I want to use like streaming services do. I would just make sense that Plex does the same thing since it’s a streaming service.

I love to change my prerolls out for the season, and it just makes me happy to see them. I wish that I could choose to see them for TV as well.
I hope they can add this soon. I would really appreciate it.

This would be a really great feature to add. Especially when watching a season or something it’s almost like an ad break with your own videos between episodes.

I’ve been looking into this too, as it’s been mentioned it’s already handled on the movies library and some people just want to stick their own little funny 5-10 second ident in like the Netflix logo for a little fun amongst friends/family.
True some people that run “commercial” servers they charge others for might use it as an advertising opportunity, but that might end up doing them more harm then good.
It would be nice for people to have the choice for what seems like an already 90% complete feature.
If they wanted to go above and beyond you could have an separate pre-roll list (of videos) per library.
Can we please have the feature added to tv as well. I know it’s currently set for just movies but I think it would be really nice to have it on tv shows as well.
