Prevent Plex from continuously trying to reconnect to an offline server

Option to stop trying to connect to offline server

I have two Plex servers. My primary Plex server is on my Linux system, which is always on. I also have a Plex server running in a Windows VM, the VM being hosted on the same Linux box. The VM is not always running. I generally just use it for testing. But Plex seems to be constantly re-trying the connection. Whether this affects performance at all, I don’t know.
