In the new Pre-Play screen the Play/Settings Buttons should be ABOVE the description/info area. It now takes 3 Clicks to have interaction of the Episodes/Selection/Settings Rows - requiring hopping over the info section every time. It’s like my Pommel Horse Workout each morning at 03:40. <—PITA
Also, on the Pre-Play screen AVC/HEVC isn’t listed until you Drill Down. We need less Drill, Baby Drill - not more Drill, Baby Drill…:
… and one more thing - what happened to the Duel Play/Resume Buttons?
What good does having the Button Reveal that when you click it you’re going to have to Answer The Question? What Happened to A Button that will perform the function you want, without more Drilling Baby Drilling and Asking Baby Asking?
Thanks for the feedback. I am curious what you end up doing when you interact with the episode list. For example, you can press ok or play while focused on the episode list without needing to return to the play button. Of course there are other scenarios, so general curious what the use case is which would help as I pass this info along.

Thanks. I’m not sure this will be changing, but I’ll pass along the request.
what happened to the Duel Play/Resume Buttons?
Those has been gone since the rewrite. This is the current method all clients should utilize for consistency. I will however pass this along too.
In order to keep on deck viable, if I skip an episode or 10 I have to mark those watched. Used to be able to do that easier than vaulting over the info area.
Let me ask you something.
What possible reason is there to place a median strip between two interaction areas?
So now I have to Drill to see AVC or HEVC, I have to drill and hop to change episodes and view what format they’re in, and read the episode name, then drill some more the view the settings, select subs, or audio, then drill some more to either Resume, or Play from the beginning, but thanks for changing the Play Button to Resume, so I’ll know there’s more drilling ahead before the program begins.
You added more clicks and an inconvenience.
I usually am quite happy with your upgrades.
The last upgrade wasn’t.
It went the other way.
You can tell whoever it is you’re reporting to that we aren’t stupid and can see the Roku App is being dumbed down so it’ll be on Par with all that other junk they can’t get up on Par with Roku.
Those are pretty high marks for you and your team - and pretty low ones for everybody else.
The Roku App is still the Flagship - until they scuttle it in the harbor 'cause it’s too pretty for the rest of the fleet.
