Previous version of Plex Media Server download?

I did the auto update of Plex Media Server only to find out my (admittedly aged) Mac Mini doesn't meet the new minimum specs. So now I can't use the new version, but the auto-update borked my previous version which was working fine. How can I download the most recent version of Media Server for Mac that works with the original Intel Mini?

Using this thread even though old, as I didn’t see a recent topic about getting previous versions of plex software

So, my recent situation is this
Plex Inc. updates PMS to v1.xxxx
New site design to plex.tv
I read emails and blogs posts. Nice stuff
However…
When I open http://app.plex.tv/web/app I can’t connect to my server. Response:

Update your Plex Media Server This version of the web app requires Plex Media Server 0.9.16.0 or higher. Use one of the links below to open an available server directly.

My Windows Server 2012 with PMS is currently 0.9.15.0
(cmon not everyone has time to update server and stay current, so of course I skip versions now and then)

Since plex has overhauled its site the download page has removed any possibility to obtain ‘previous versions’ and I came looking in forums
Disappointed to find no articles and links to achieve this here
So I go hunting for Plex Media Server 0.9.16

Then I found a web archive link that worked for me:

If you want to see a calendar with all dates and choose one, click the “80 captures” link at top, or this:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160405053543*/https://plex.tv/downloads

So April was the most recent before the June/July overhaul
While I was at it, I got the final releases of apps - Plex Home Theatre and Plex Media Centre (yes I know how old it is) as it seems you better keep your own copies of Plex apps for future DIY support

Plex mod/staff please advise why at a minimum the most recent pre-v1.x downloads were not kept readily available?
Finally, I suggest this be marked as an ‘answer’ so other users can see tagged and get help
Thanks
