First and foremost, Great software for organizing your media. Two thumbs WAY up. Can you add in an option now on what the priority on how the server complete task and the ability to move things around? IE:
If the intro search produces too much load for your taste, relegate it to the server maintenance period.

The load is not the issue. My issue is that I like the aesthetics (the artwork) over the convenient thing (skip intro) to take priority, but it looks like you just set the “Generate video preview thumbnails” to when its added. I added a whole series to the Plex server and it was sitting on the Find intro and wasn’t working on anything else, such as the 4 other series that I put on there.
That is exactly what setting the intro detection to the maintenace time will achieve.
Detecting intros is time consuming, particularly when adding a lot of stuff at once. So tell Plex to do the time-consuming stuff later, at night.
