When installing the app it says “error opening file for writing”.
It then specifically mentions “Plex Media Server.dll”
Any suggestions to get it to install correctly?
I tried ignoring it, but then the app won’t run.

Yes I am administrator and also tried to run the installer as administrator.
What version of Windows are you trying to install the player on?
I am installing on Windows 10
You shouldn’t be installing it in the actual Plex Server Folder, should you?
It appears it is trying to install in the …Plex\Plex\ folder. Try installing it in just the Plex folder one level up.

What you show is the same (you also have a Plex folder in the Plex folder).
It is the suggested folder by the installer and I did not change it.
I also tried creating c:\plex and install there, but the result is the same.
