If someone encounters an issue with an episode that doesn’t seem to work, they can send an error notification which alerts the master account to check on a particular movie or episode and fix the issue when possible. I download movies in batches and sometimes this can occur and I won’t know until I attempt to watch it. This would allow other users to notify you about a specific video and check the problem.
You can already do that.

Interesting. Didn’t realize that was possible within Plex.
However, I logged into a non admin account from app.plex.tv and I am not seeing the report option in any context menu, whether from the series level or episode level from a TV show or on the details page for a movie.
I didn’t see anything in the support article mentioned, but are there any requirements for this to be visible?

It’s possible that it is currently only available to accounts who have enabled this: https://support.plex.tv/articles/activity-feed/
So reading that second article you posted I saw this paragraph (emphasis mine):
Activity for a single item can also be viewed on the detail page for that item. Click on the Activity to see the feed for that individual item. (If you do not wish to have this Activity module to show up on details pages, you can go to Settings > Online Media Sources in the Plex Web app and disable Display Activity from My Friends on Detail Pages in the Discover section.)
When I go to that section for the non admin account I have, I do not see the option they are referring to at all. Here is what I have:
Almost seems like the support article was put up prematurely and this feature isn’t fully rolled out. I even tried enabling experimental features to see if that changed anything and it didn’t.
Thanks,

Yeah i do not see these options either, not even a share button under episodes.
You might have to head over here and activate this experimental feature using the link in the first post: Discover Together Beta : Announcement & Feedback
Are you using the hosted web app?
Yes I am.
I’ve only tried the hosted web app as it’s easier to login to this other account so I don’t have to logout of my main account on my phone (not that I use that very often but I do like getting the notifications on my phone).
I’m wondering, if there is anything that needs to be done on my admin account? Everything I’ve been looking at was on this separate account I use at our family vacation home. Though looking at my own settings, the I do have the first two options under Discover disabled, though I don’t think those should impact what other’s can see on my server in regard to the options in the context menus.
Thanks,
