The idea would be to have a Share Link in every Movie or TV show that you could essentially Copy and send via Email or SMS to a Friend Or Managed user that has access to your Library. They could simply click the Link and it would open Plex and take them to the Movie or TV show in the library that they have access too.
Where do you see those activity markers with the share icon? I’ve never seen anything like that. The documentation says “You can access your Activity feed at any time, which shows activity both that you’ve done as well as from your friends” but it doesn’t actually say WHERE this is.
At the bottom of that page it says it is part of the Discover feature but when I look around Discover, all I see is stuff like what’s “trending.”
I’m using the web app at plex.tv which should support the activity feed per the documentation.

There are a lot of things that aren’t shareable via those things like music and individual episodes like “Dude check out the Last of Us Episode 3” or whatever. I don’t know why they don’t make it universal.
Also from what I can tell the notification is via email, which, nowadays usually makes it to the friend’s spam folder.
Perfectly available for tiers of a tv-show (show, season, episode).
Hmmm… I didn’t see this before. Maybe because I look earlier in beta? Well it’s there now and that’s great.
Still not on Music (would like to share Genre, Artist, Album and Song levels).
Not there on other videos either like personal home movies. Must be based on LIbrary scanner or something like that.
