[problem] only last subtitle lines always out of sync

hello, I have a weird issue since some months ago.

I’ve already read subtitle sync problem posts, but didn’t find issues like mine.

The subtitles are in sync except the last phrase of every subtitle group, that it appears like 2-10min later.

subtitle A line 1 --synced
subtitle A line 2 --synced
subtitle A last line --5 minutes later
.
.
.
subtitle B line 1 --synced
subtitle B line 2 --synced
subtitle B line 3 --synced
subtitle B last line --5 minutes later

I first thought that the problem was Samsung 2016 TV plex app, but it happens the same on PS4 Pro plex app.
i tried an advice i read in forums; force transcode disabling Direct play so it burns the subtitles…but it happens the same. It doesn’t happen on VLC or PotPlayer.
I only use mkv with subtitles in them. Movies and tv series.

May it be a PMS issue? has anybody seen this?

I confirm have the exact same issue on 2017 model with Tizen .
Getting a bit tired of it … one issue solved - new ones appear … :slight_smile:

Someone at PLEX could have a look at this issue? it’s awful seeing anything with subtitles. It happens always!! I bought plex pass expecting to have a bit of support…

I’m also getting this issue on the Tizen Plex app, really annoying and almost impossible to watch foreign films. Really hope this gets sorted sometime soon!

edit: think I managed to solve this by setting the Burn Subtitles setting to Always on the TV, not ideal but at least I can watch films in other languages now :slight_smile:
