Problem playing files with DTS that I played in the past

I have been a plex pass member for a long time… I have movies with DTS audio that I have played in the past and recently when I tried to play them again the file does not play.

No Audio and it freezes.

I can still play any other movie file that has DD5.1 or EAC 5.1 no problem

Just to add I have been using the same Android TV box I have 3 of them and all of them are not playing DTS files anymore

What Android box is it, what Plex app is running on it, and what version of Plex Server are you running? Please gather the server and app logs so we can take a look.

I’m running through your logs now. Your media isn’t named anywhere close to what Plex needs in order to function properly. Have you read the naming convention FAQs? The link is in my signature.

Thanks. I will begin to look at renaming files… I have never had an issue in the past with names… but if it makes a difference I will start doing this :slight_smile:

I didn’t see anything in the logs that stands out, but since I don’t have your Android device I can’t test it myself. Have you tried upgrading your Plex Server to the latest Plex Pass release?

I did actually. I was surprised that I did not have the latest one…i have been a plex pass for a long time and always do the updates that come up… the movies used to work perfectly with DTS and now not :frowning:
