"Problem preparing for optimization" error

Hey now,

I am having a problem with my Plex Server. Maybe someone here can help me.

My old computer crashed, and I was able to load the old database files onto a new server and get everything going again (unfortunately not able to grab the old registry keys).

There is one feature that I am having issues with and that is optimize media.

When I go: Settings->Server->Optimized Versions

Instead of showing my old optimized versions I get: “There was a problem requesting media versions from this server”

And when I go to optimize anything I get the error “There was a problem preparing for optimization”.

I think this might have something to do with permissions on Windows, but I’m not sure how to fix it. Thanks for your time.

If anyone could offer help that would be appreciated.

after looking at the logs I have determined that I have a corrupt database.

Here is what I was able to get when i checked for corruption

followed the instructions to fix the corrupt database. all is fixed now. thank you.
