Problem streaming only over android devices iOS works fine

Hi I am having an issue with plex for Android not streaming properly when using direct play. It seems to play the first few minutes of a video however not fetch any more and will just sit buffering indefinitely. I can play video fIne on Xbox, lg web os, iOS and when opened in a browser. However I have the same stalled video issue when streaming on my android tablet, android phone and NVIDIA shield. This seems to happen despite media quality. Any idea of what nmaybe causing this?
