When adding tv series with TheTVDB agent no metadata is downloaded to the series and the episodes.
If I change the agent to “The Movie Database” all data s downloaded including episode titles, plots etc.
Is TheTVDB Agent not working properly?
It does not matter what TV series I try the above on, the result is the same.
You’ll need to provide more details such as the show you are having issues with, the filenames you are using, and providing the scanner and agent logs.
The show: Arrow.
Filename example: arrow.s01e01.hybrid.720p.mkv
where do I find the logs?

There are some errors in your log trying to obtain the metadata. TheTVDB does have issues from time to time, so it could have just been a glitch. Try restarting PMS and see if that helps.
Another thing I see is that you are just renaming your files. This will not help if something does not match. Plex has a memory of what it tried to match before. You need to do a Plex Dance (see my signature) for those files after renaming them.

I tried renaming the files after i posted yesterday to see if that would make a difference.
And this error is something I have been experiencing for some time now.
And not only with this series.
When I looked in the log files I saw a certificate error. Could this perhaps be the cause of the problem?

That is a symptom, not a cause. Have you try restarting PMS?

Yes the server is restarted everry morning.
And I have just tried a manual restart of Plex Media Server.
It has no effect when I try to update afterwards
Can you get me the entire log file with nothing removed?
I am not sure I want to publish my entire set of logs here. Sorry.
