I’m trying to install plex media server on my Ubuntu Server 18.04 but when i download and start the program on my server and i go to http://192.168.1.50:32400/web/index.html it doesn’t connect to my Server. Both devices are in the same protected network.
Can somebody help me?
Start the basic diagnostic steps please.
- Is it running?
- If not, what do journalctl and systemctl have to report
- If nothing there, please create a gzip tarball of the Logs directory and attach it.

Also, if the Ubuntu firewall (ufw) is running, you probably need a rule to allow access from the LAN.
