Maybe this already was asked, if so my apologies for asking again…
I have ripped quite some dvd’s to mkv with vobsub subtitles. Until recently (thing 3-4 weeks) that worked fine with playback on my Samsung smart-tv and on my Firetv Stick 4k.
But since than the subtitles show up as selected but don’t display. When I have the option of changing to srt subtitles they do display.
Saw somehing about burning in subtitles but when I change that setting I get an error on playback.
Any suggestion would be appreciated
