When I stream movies with VOBSUB subtitles they do not show on Fire-TV Stick ( I have both Fire-TV Stick 4K and V2 of the original–neither shows).
If I use plex.tv on the web, it works fine.
Using external .srt files does work on the Fire Stick. But when I select VOB subtitles, the title is a choice on the menu, but nothing shows on the screen.
Has anyone figured a workaround on this?
Bump. The screen where one is about to select the TV Show does show in the right-hand corner “English (VOBSUB)”.
I have now sideloaded the later version of plex (9.something). did not fix the issue. SRT files have always worked as designed.
Same problem on Nvidia Shield Pro 2019. Randomly (but the problem concerns the majority of VOBSUB) they do not appear and for others, the film does not launch in Directplay. This is a huge problem and hopefully Plex will find a solution soon…
