If I get some time later I’ll try this scenario and see if I can get it to work. I sense Plex will see it as somewhat of an edge case but lets see if we can get it working.
I do wonder if a full plex dance with both of these movie versions (all the steps) in their separate folders might help. Plex can stubbornly hold onto data in its db so the dance would help clear that out and break the loop your in.
Lets see if anyone else jumps in with an idea.
OH, just realised that if you created a separate library that it most likely work. Not ideal I’ll grant you but maybe a fallback option if everything else fails.
